Infusión de Manzana Turca usando el AeroPress

ES: Una de las memorias mas dulces que tengo de visitar Turquía es haber probado una infusión de manzana en Estambul. La buena noticia es que usando el preparador de café AeroPress es posible sacar hasta la última gota de sabor de la mezcla de manzana.

Seguí los siguientes pasos:

  1. Agregar dos cucharadas de la mezcla de manzana a una taza con agua caliente.
  2. Dejar la mezcla reposando un par de minutos (No me gusta la idea de dejar agua caliente por mucho rato en el AeroPress plástico, por varias razones, incluyendo que va a gotear a través del filtro).
  3. Vertir el contenido de la taza en el AeroPress y presionar.
  4. Disfrutar del sabor de Turquía.
  5. Compostar los desechos orgánicos.

Turkish Apple Infusion using AeroPress

EN: One of the sweetest memories I have from visiting Turkey is tasting an apple infusion in Istambul. The great news is that using an AeroPress coffee maker, it is possible to extract even the last drop of flavor of the apple preparation mix.

I followed the following steps:

  1. Add two spoons of the mix to a cup of hot water.
  2. Let the mix steep for a couple of minutes in the cup (I don't like the idea of leaving the hot water a lot of time inside the plastic AeroPress, for a variety of reasons, including the dripping through the filter).
  3. Pour the cup contents in the AeroPress and press.
  4. Enjoy a taste of Turkey.
  5. Compost the organic remains.
